The word Psoriasis is derived from the Greek word which means ‘being itchy.’ It is a long-lasting autoimmune system disorder results in patches on the skin in different colors. Generally, our body develops new skin in place of the dead cells. This takes some time of about 3 to 4 weeks. But in psoriasis condition, the new skin forms within 1 week. What is Plaque Psoriasis? Plaque Psoriasis, also known as Psoriasis Vulgaris. It is the most common type which looks like plaques on the skin’s surface. It means the red raised skin with silvery-white patches. The Plaque Psoriasis occurs anywhere on the body. But the most familiar places include Elbow, Knees, Trunk, Nails and Scalp. You can identify the Plaque Psoriasis by some symptoms which include Pain, Itching, and crack. This Psoriasis skin disorder affects 85 % to 95% of persons having Psoriasis. Guttate Psoriasis
